Learn how to punch out an awkward shape using a circle punch.
Step 1: Stamp out your image onto paper/card stock, then line up inside the circle punch. I used a giraffe image where the head and top part of the neck are too long to fit inside the circle. Draw a faint pencil line at the edge of the circle where the image no longer fits, then cut around the image above this line.
Step 2: Line up the image inside the circle punch again and bend the extended part of the image up and out of the way.
Step 3: Punch out your circle and remove from the punch. Carefully flatten out the part you had to bend up out of the way.
Step 4: Add your image to your card.
