I found this wooden elk massage roller at a thrift store and decided to turn him into a fun toy for my son. Now you can too!
Drill a hole where you want to attach the string to the pull toy. Use masking tape to mask the parts you want to protect from paint, if you’re using several colors of paint. Paint the rest of the toy and let it dry.
Remove the tape and mask other parts of the toy, then paint with the next color and let it dry. Keep this up until you’ve painted the whole toy in whatever colors and/or patterns you chose. Use furniture oil to seal the paint. Let it dry.
Put the earring through your drilled hole and tie the string to it. Now your pull toy is ready to get played with!
