This is a great make ahead dish. You could pour some whisky on top of the chicken before adding the sauce. This would give a stronger flavour.
This is a great make ahead dish. You could pour some whisky on top of the chicken before adding the sauce. This would give a stronger flavour.
Coat the chicken in seasoned flour.
Fry the chicken in butter or oil in a pan until cooked through. Remove the chicken to a serving dish.
Melt the butter in the pan. Add a little flour. Stir to combine.
Add the whisky to the pan. Stir through. Cook out the whisky for a minute.
Add the chicken stock. Boil to reduce a little.
Add the cream. Stir through.
Pour over the chicken.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Serve.
