The thin flower fimo I bought off ebay to see just how thin they were sliced and how they would work on nails. You can buy the slices in little plastic wheels, or you can buy them at sallys. (but they are like, 4x more) These slices are thin, and I would rather use them to embed into gel or acrylic nails. Though, with patience and determination, you can get the flowers to sit nice on the nails. The thin slices will curl up when you add the topcoat. put a very small dab of topcoat on the nail and push the fimo slice into that dab. It's sort of a "wait for tackiness-apply fimo" sort of thing, and you have to use tiny pointed tweezers, or a cuticle stick to hold the fimo in place so it won't curl/warp. Whatever you want to call it. I only made two pairs...because it is tedious adding 6-7 thin slices of flower fimo in this process. I'm a patient person...but still. It takes a while. Looks pretty though. IMO. You don't need a hugenormous dab of topcoat either. (It'll get messy and sloppy, and be a waste, plus you will be sitting FOREVER if you do.) I used the striping/detailing tape to make the stripes. Paint your base first, let it dry, add the striping tape onto the nail. and paint over with the next coat. Then pull off the striping tape to reveal the lines. You want to do this QUICKLY. If you leave the tape there, and the polish dries, you will have a mess, and ruined design. I drilled fake nails into the shape you see with a dremmel tool.
