  • 4mm Glass Pearl Beads white
  • Needle
  • Super Lon D Loom Thread
  • 3 m Organza Ribbon 12mm black
  • 4 x 7x5mm Ribbon Crimp silver plated
  • 7mm Jump Ring(s) silver plated
  • 2 x Trigger Clasp silver plated
  • Flat Nose Pliers
  • Snippers

Steps (7 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

Cut one 36cm length of ribbon and another 110cm. Place the longer length on top and stitch together close to one edge. Fold the longer ribbon into a pleat 1cm long and stitch in place along the edge. Repeat for the length of the ribbon.

  2. 2

Start 1.5cm from the end of the ribbon, stitch the 4mm pearls onto the ribbon to cover the previous set of stitches. Sew them on in a random manner by adding a 6mm pearl after every few 4mm pearls to create a line across the necklace.

  3. 3

Place the end into a crimp, with a pair of flat nosed pliers squeeze the crimp firmly. Trim off any excess ribbon. Open a 7mm jump ring, attach to the top loop of the crimp and close the jump ring. Repeat for the other end and add a trigger clasp.

  4. 4

To make the bracelet, cut two lengths of 16cm of ribbon and two lengths of 48cm. Follow step 1 to make the pleats. Repeat for both lengths.

  5. 5

Place the two pleated lengths pleat side out onto the 16cm length of ribbon. Start 1.5cm from the end of the ribbon, stitch on the 4mm pearls to hold both pleated lengths to the flat ribbon. Sew them in a random manner by adding a 6mm pearl after every few 4mm pearls.

  6. 6

Place the end into a crimp, with a pair of flat nosed pliers squeeze the crimp firmly. Trim off any excess ribbon. Open a 7mm jump ring, attach to the top loop of the crimp and close the jump ring. Repeat for the other end and add a trigger clasp.

This is what the finished set shoud look like.
