I've never eaten Popeyes's chicken so I don't know how accurate this recipe is. Besides that, the chicken was nice, crisp & moist.

You will need

Chicken
Brine
2 cup Buttermilk 1 tsp Hot Sauce 1 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Breading
2 cup Plain Flour 1 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp White Pepper 1/2 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Sugar 1 1/2 tsp Brown Sugar
Frying
Oil

Description

I've never eaten Popeyes's chicken so I don't know how accurate this recipe is. Besides that, the chicken was nice, crisp & moist.

Instructions

1. 

   Mix all brine ingredients together. Pour over the chicken & leave for atleast 4 hrs but best overnight. Remove from the fridge 30 mins before you need it.

2. 

   Mix all the breading ingredients together. Heat the oil.

3. 

   Coat the chicken in the breading mixture.

4. 

   Place into the oil. Fry until cooked through.

5. 

   Drain on paper. Serve.
