My inspiration came when I saw a cowboy with a pop tab hatband on his hat at a rodeo dance. I examined the band, and this is what's evolved, I didn't have a pattern or anything to work from, just memory and imagination. I weave ribbon, strips of fabric and even fun wool through the tabs. I also make hatbands, belts and necklaces and use as much recycled material as I can find, shopping at thrift store bag sales, and cutting strips from everything I find. I found cutoutandkeep recently, and then found all the pop tab items here, so I wanted to share my versions.
