A bed is not complete without a million and one pillows, right? This project will teach you how to make your bed pop by adding pompoms to a plain pillow. Colored pompoms make for a great way to upcycle what you already have into something fresh and new, without having to go out and buy new pillows every time you get bored. And—even better—this project takes almost no time at all! What could be better than that?

Use your glue gun to add a bit of glue to a pompom, then press it down onto a corner of the pillow.
Continue adding pompoms to the front of the pillow from corner to corner in an X shape.
Now begin filling in the rest of the pillow with pompoms, working in diagonal lines. If you are using multicolored pompoms, try to stick with a pattern of alternating colors. The most important part of this step is gluing down the pompoms in straight lines.
Now wait for your creation to dry, which should take about 15 minutes. This pillow will be delicate, so remember to remove it from your bed before sleeping. If pompoms fall off, you can easily glue them back on.
