Pomegranate Molasses Granola

You Will Need (9 things)

  • 450 ml Pomegranate Molasses
  • 50 ml Honey
  • 500 g Butter
  • 100 g Apricots - chopped
  • 100 g Dates
  • 100 g Hazelnuts
  • 100 g Sultanas
  • 500 g Pure Rolled Oats
  • 500 g Almond Meal (from almond milk)

Steps (8 steps, 30 minutes)

    Put molasses, honey and butter in sauce pan and place over high heat.

    Melt together until rapidly boiling then remove from heat to cool.

  3. 3

    Place fruit & nuts in a large bowl with rolled oats and almond meal.

  4. 4

    Pour in the melted butter/pomegranate mixture and combine well.

  5. 5

    Spread the oats over a large tray and place in oven set at 170˚C for 30 minutes.

    Every 5 minutes remove the granola from oven and roughly stir.

    Leave to cool completely then place in air tight storage containers.

    Leave for a day before eating.
