Condition and roll your clay colours to a 1-2mm thickness
Using your shape cutters, cut one shape from each colour
**Tip - I always work on a ceramic tile. By rolling your clay on the tile, it will slightly stick to it. This will help when you cut your shapes out. The clay will stick to the tile instead of in your cutter. Peel the clay off the tile using a flexi blade or knife.
Smooth the edges of your clay with your finger tip.
Layer the two circles on top of each other.
Use your flexi blade to slice the top off your circles.
Layer your small rectangle on the centre top of your circles
Fold the rectange over and secure onto the back - ensuring you've left a gap at the top to thread your cord.
Cure (bake) in the oven at the clay manufacturers recommended instructions. If you find your clay is still to soft - and not baked properly- you can bake longer but not hotter.
Once cool - thread your cord to make your necklace! And your done! Thanks for joining me for this project! If you enjoyed this - please follow along with my Instagram or YouTube channel @thelittlecrafthouseaus for more inspo and projects!
