Take a small portion of polymer clay (use whatever colour you'd like) and roll into a ball. Set this aside for later
Take the ball and roll it out. Ensure that one end is (slightly) bigger than the other (this will be the head, I'll explain in a later step)
Select another two small pieces of clay (these will be used for the leeches eyes) and roll them into two balls.
Flatten the two balls mentioned in the previous step
Attach the two flattened balls onto the cylinder you made in step 2; as you can see, the cylinder can be twisted into multiple different poses. It's all up to you!
Now take a needle/toothpick and add some details. I only added a mouth (eg. smile, frown, grimace, smirk)
Ta da! You have your leech. I don't have any photos of my painted ones, but you can paint stripes on the leech, or create strange patterns. (I myself prefer to make a stripped stocking look) I hope you enjoyed the tutorial!
