Description

Join me to make these simple yet stunning Daisy earrings using Polymer Clay! I've chosen to use both Premo and Fimo Polymer clay for this project. This project is nice and simple - but may be a little fiddly!

Instructions

  1. Small 2021 01 22 092140 daisy%2b1

Start by gathering your supplies. Im using Premo and Fimo polymer clays. Im also going to be using a small (20mm) teardrop shape cutter to form the petals of my daisy.

  2. Small 2021 01 22 092144 daisy%2b2

Condition (soften) your polymer clay and roll out to approximately 3mm thickness.

  3. Small 2021 01 22 092148 daisy%2b3

Using your teardrop shape cutter - cut 10 'petals' from your white clay

  4. Small 2021 01 22 092200 daisy%2b4

Roll 2 even small balls with your orange clay. Squish these gently to form the centre of the flowers.

  5. Small 2021 01 22 092205 daisy%2b5

One-by-one join your petals together by gently pushing the edges together.

  6. Small 2021 01 22 092209 daisy%2b6

You will use 5 petals per flower.

  7. Small 2021 01 22 092214 daisy%2b7

Place your orange piece in the center and apply a small amount of pressure to join it all together.

  8. Small 2021 01 22 092220 daisy%2b8

If you find you have finger prints or lint on your clay (which always happens with white clay!) - you can remove it by using Rubbing Alcohol and a cotton tip.

  9. Small 2021 01 30 082336 daisy%2b92

Cure (bake) in the oven at the clay manufacturers recommended instructions. If you find your clay is still to soft - and not baked properly- you can bake longer but not hotter.

Drill holes in your pieces once finished and attach your findings. And your done! Thanks for joining me for this project! If you enjoyed this - please follow along with my Instagram or YouTube channel @thelittlecrafthouseaus for more inspo and projects!
