Poke'mon Misty Costume

Misty Shirt: Yellow men's shirt Scissors Yellow thread and a needle Needles/saftey pins
First cut off the sleeves of the shirt, leaving the seams intact.
Try the shirt on and pin the bottom up to where you're comfortable.
Take the shirt off and either: a) Sew along the pins, cutting off the excess on the inside OR b) Unpin the bottom layer of the shirt and cut an inch below the remaining pins, then hem up the raw edge.
Shorts: - High-waisted pants -Scissors
Try the pants on and mark with a pencil where you want them to hit.
Take the pants off and cut a half inch below the line
Use the scissors to fray the hem of the raw edge or fold the raw edge up.
Suspenders: -2 pieces of Red Ribbon -Saftey pins
I'm pretty sure you get the point already, buuut. . . Safety pin the ribbon to the inside of the shorts and cross the 2 pieces in the back.
Togepi: -Light Tan Felt -Red Felt -Blue Felt -White Scrap Fabric -A Black Marker
Draw the basic egg shell shape onto the white fabric with pencil Put another piece of fabric below it and cut out the egg shape.
Sew the rounded part of Togepi's shell. Do NOT sew the top part of the body closed yet!
Flip the eggshell inside out. Cut out triangular shapes from the red and blue felt and sew them sporadically onto togepi's torso.
Layer 2 pieces of tan felt and sketch 2 arms and 2 legs; cut them out. *You should have 8 small circle like shapes.
Sew the 2 pieces together on the rounded part, leaving an open flat edge. Flip the body parts inside out
Stuff the 4 appendages with cotton and sew them onto the torso. Split the limb so one piece of felt is on the front, one on the back.
Layer 2 pieces of tan felt and stencil Togepi's head on the felt. Cut it out and sew the jagged parts together, leaving the flat edge open.
Flip the head inside out (bet you didn't see that coming!) and draw a fact on with the black marker *Take your time, an ugly face can ruin a whole Togepi :c
Stuff the head and body with cotton and sew them together. The head should be inside of the shell completely, not showing on both sides like the limbs.
Shoes: -Red converse or similiar looking shoe (you could paint yours red like I did if you don't have theses) -Yellow Shoe Lace -Clear Nail Polish -White Scrap Fabric
Wrap the white fabric around the tounge of the shoe and sew it on. *I'd sew it to the outter edge of the backside of the tounge
Cut off the excess fabric and ensure any raw edges can't be seen from the front.
Cut the shoe lace into seperate pieces, dabbing clear polish onto the ends so they don't fray. *All shoes will have different lengths, but this is the look you're going for, so ensure that your pieces can make this!
Hot glue the pieces of shoelace onto the shoe in the pattern shown above
