crocheted in a round. the dimensions are as follow (anyone need them more detailed?) i'm going to try a joint white & black button. i can't recall where i found the pattern. EDIT: tried a joined white-black button instead of 2 individual pieces and I prefer the joined.

Instructions

1. with red 6 12 18 24 30 36 42 42 at end change to black 42 42 at end change to white 42 42 36 30 24 18 12 (stuff around this size and keep decreasing) to make the button: make a circle of 6 in white, a circle of black in 12 (or larger, if preferred) and stitch on
