When your mother-in-law gives you a handful of white undershirts, what do you do with them? I think she meant for me to pass them on to the husband, but I couldn't help but keep a few for myself for a few projects-- and turn one into a gold dotted shirt.

If you have a white men's tee, make it a little more fancy by hemming the neckline and the bottom hem. I also rolled up the sleeves twice and stitched them in place to shorten to them.
Fold the bottom hem an inch and sew it.
>> Place cardboard in between your shirts layers and stencil to your heart's content.
My only suggestion? Let your shirt dry at least 12 hours before painting the other side. :) And yes, the paint will bleed through the shirt, so the cardboard is key.
wear it!
