First pair of pants i made from scratch, made a template from a pair of skinny jeans i already have and like the fit of (though it didn't work very well since i did not tear them apart), but wound up with a twisty seam towards the bottom legs. I also had to double up the fabric to make the pants thick enough. they still fit fine, pockets came out great. i suck at making zippers though :/
