You Will Need (4 things)

  • (Whatever one's you can work with) Hama Beads
  • 1 Hama Bead Ironing Paper
  • 1 Hama Bead Board
  • Iron

Steps (4 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

Go on google and search 'Disney Perler Bead Patterns' and scroll through the selection for your favourite princess or villian.

(You can pick up Hama/Perler beads fairly cheaply online, and even if you don't have a wide range of colours you can substitute and make it up as you go along.)

  2. 2

Blow up the picture as big as you can on your browser and set it up next to your Hame bead Board so that you can refer to the pattern as you work.

Working carefully row by row, follow the pattern all the way through.

  3. 3

Once you've completed the pattern of your prefered character, place a layer of baking paper over the top and iron over the paper, making sure to apply pressure so that the hama beads adhere together correctly. (Otherwise you end up with a crumbly mess).

  4. 4

Picking up the hama board with the beads attatched, flip it carefully over and place it on the side, gently removing the board from the beads before laying another sheet of baking paper onto the top and ironing the flip side. (This is to make sure those beads are well and truly melted).

Be sure to let it cool before picking it up, and then by jingo you've got it!
