I used to do this in class. I used to be good. Then I didn't do it again for... Shit! has it already been 8 years?! I'm old!
It's fun, though. I'm thinking I'm gonna try to recapture all the old art styles I used to use. And that's a good few... I just got so self-concious, because everybody else seemed to be better than me at whichever one. Some years later, I learned that they were all using photoshop, etc. (Honestly, never heard of computerized editing until 2008!) So, now, I'm not worried anymore! I've seen your roughs, people!
This is stunning. I would love to do this at some point. I might start trying with just some 2B pencils and work up to the permanent marker. Awesome inspiration!
Thankz for the comment Kel, but you can do this with any image. Try it with yin and yang, a simple image that is easy to draw, like the one with my dragon. I mean if you want to, it's really easy.
Well, yeah it's the same thing, but I think most are done with much finer (smaller) tools to make even smaller dots. So far, I have only used a sharpie, which is bigger, pixel size.
