I'm making my daughter Pirate themed stuff for her birthday as she LOVES playing pirates at the moment. I've bought her an inflatble treasure chest to keep all her Pirate bits and treasure in and am making her a Pirate captains coat so she can be captain Pegleg :) Decided to try and figure out how to make a coin bag for the Pirate coins i bought her today. I used material and cording that i already had in, so it didn't cost anything to make.

Draw a circle on your fabric - I drew around a vinyl record for mine. Cut out.
Draw 8 circles (the size of your cording) around the edge evenly spaced and cut out. Now cut another cirlce to the right of each one alread done and cut these out too.
Thread the cording through so it looks like this <----- when the inside is facing you
....And this when the outside is facing you. <----
Pull the cording together slightly, and place your money inside.
Then tie up and your done!
