First, do a rough measurement of your own head to know how many pipe cleaners you will need for the "base" of the crown. It all depends on how long your pipe cleaners are, but I used 2 and a half, cut them down to size and twisted the ends together VERY tight.
Now you have your base!
Now is when you decide the height of your crown points. I wanted mine tall, dramatic and varying in size. You can keep all your points the same height, or change things up. Just play around with it. I used 1 1/2 for most of my points.
This part is pretty self explanatory. Just twist the ends of your points to the base!
Now model it :)
