With this dress, it was mainly me exploring a style that I don't normally do so I felt that it wasn't as great as it could of been. But, looking back on it now it isn't as bad as I thought at the time. !
As far as a tutorial, I used a tutorial on Craftster. Its basically two rectangles for the bodice; one with a few pintucks and elastic on the top, and one fully shirred. A gathered skirt, with waist ties inserted into the side seams of the bodice. The sleeves are just long rectangles gathered with elastic. Very simple with a very cute outcome, in my opinion. !

I got it from some discount fabric store in Buena Park (if you live in Cali, I'm not sure. haha. But for those who do)
It was 2 bucks a yard !

cool. I have the same fabric but fuzzier (from fabricland) got it about 3 years ago.. made baby burp towels and recieving blankets out of it.
