i had some tulle, some lace and other bits...so i came up with this. It took me two days on-and-off to make it, as i dont use my sewing machine... cant figure out how it works... i think its some kind of witchcraft or something... :-/ I did the blue lace bit first...sewed that to the waistband, then sewed and flat layer to that and sewed all the ruffled layers of tulle to that... i sewed and lace strip to the bottom of one piece, which i think looks good. onto all those layers... i sewed random bits of leftover tulle, and got this! :-)

This skirt is a wrap around concept. It has several layers and components. It might look complicated, but its not! :-) Start with the strong ribbon. Wrap it around your waist to see where it fits. You'll need lots at the ends so your able to tie it up. Mark where you need to tie it. (the fit) sew a strip if the lace up to these marks. Then to this, sew (in pleats) the rest. (see pic)
You'll need to sew a piece of material to the back now. (the back of thr ribbon) i used black tulle, but it would probably be better to use something a bit stronger...and less seethrough. Dont know if you can see it in this pic... :-/ But you CAN see how the layers work. Get a strip a few layers deep, and Sew them to the other side, in pleats or ruffles, in different colours. As you can see, i sewed some black lace to the black tulle layer. I like the effect this gives. :-)
After you finish all the layers, you acn add random bits of alternating tulle to your layers. Add lots andmake your skirt fuller! :-) gotta be randomly placed though...all the way around. :-)
This is what you should be aiming for... lots of random bits. Not just on the pink bit though...all the layers. i like 'random', it means 'one-off' lol. :-)
I told you it was easy. Now all thats left is for you to put it on! :-) If you any questions, please ask. :-)
