Today was a great day of merging memories and coming up with an awesome new idea! Hang this on your wall for easy access. Grab it off the wall and use as a tray if you need to work in another room. Use it as a reminder board. Pincushion, cork (bulletin) board and tray organizer.... SCORE! (This was created out of some awesome memories. My grandfather who was unable to finish the frames before he died, my trip to Boston where I got the awesome burlap bag at a thrift store, and all sorts of scraps and pieces from other projects. My only investment was time and $3.99 for the cork board.)

Grandpa left me a bunch or odd shaped frames he made. He liked to be busy but really didn't care to conform to established size standards. I just could not throw them out. The burlap bag was only $.25 and the green material was from my Princess Fiona "ears" I made for Halloween. The bag is another awesome memory and ironic as Reading, MA is pronounced "Redding". I find that endlessly amusing. The inspiration was the flower shaped pin cushions I found at Joanne's Craft store for 75% OFF! Just .65 each!
I added cork board and cardboard to each frame. You need the extra thickness so your pins and tacks will stick. I then glued on the green felt and burlap highlights.
After decorating to taste, I hung them up on my craft room wall.
I love that you can snag them off the wall anytime to move your project to another room. Just use it as a tray! Now that my craft room is gettiing organized, maybe I'll have time to fix my nail polish! =D Thanks to everyone here at CO&K for keeping me inspired.
