Description

This DIY is very simple and very cute looking afterwards. I love these DIY’s where you can reuse things, especially jars.

Instructions

  1. Small sam 0619 1311447842

Measure the radius of your lid with your compass, if the lid as a lip measure that too, and then add about 2,5 cm.

  2. Small sam 0621 1311447887

Then make your circle, on the back of your scrapbook paper.

  3. Small sam 0623 1311447909

With your Stanley knife, cut the circle out.

  4. Small sam 0624 1311447916

Find your compass again and make a circle on your circle which is the same size as the lid.

  5. Small sam 0626 1311447932

Cut slits with about 0,5 cm between from the outside and into the guideline you just made.

  6. Small sam 0634 1311447954

Now it’s time to find your decoupage glue and brush. Give the circle generously with glue and push the lid firmly down on it.

  7. Small sam 0641 1311447969

Brush small pieces of decoupage glue on both the jar lip and the slits and then press you slits one at the time on to the lip so they overlap.

Finally give a generously amount of decoupage glue on the lids whole surface, and let it dry.

Tip: You can also glue something to the jar that indicates what it’s used for.
