Made this pillow for my nephew's birthday since he is currently in love with the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
Fold your fabric in half and cut out an oval shape the size you want your pillow. This will be the body.
Cut out a circle for the head.
cut out 4 long strips (legs) and 4 about an inch and a half shorter strip.
make a small fold at the middle of each leg, pin and sew them with a pointy end like the picture. Leave an opening to flip it to its right side.
To flip them to their right side I used a wooden stick.
stuff the legs with polyfill
arrange the legs around one of the oval shapes and pin them in place on the right side of the oval.
place the other oval shape with the wrong side facing outward and pin it in place. Sew around leaving an opening big enough to plip it to its right side, where the head will be
remove all the pins and flip it over.
stuff the body with polyfill
sew the two circles together and flip it to its right side. Cut out two felt white circles for the eyes and sew them on.
cut out 2 more felt circles for the pupils and sew.
sew on a mouth.
Fill up the head with polyfill and sew it on to the body.
