You can fill these perogis with any filling you choose. You can boil them & eat them that way or you can fry them.
You can fill these perogis with any filling you choose. You can boil them & eat them that way or you can fry them.
Place the flour & salt in a bowl.
Make a hole in the centre. Pour in the butter & milk into the centre to form a dough.
Add some water to make the dough come together. Cover the dough & leave for 30 mins.
Roll the dough out. Make it the same thickness as pasta.
Cut into circles.
Place a tsp of filling into the centre of the dough.
Wet the edge of the dough & make a crescent shape. Make sure it is sealed well.
Boil water. Boil about 8 pierogis until they rise to the surface, then cook for 1 min.
Remove from the water & toss in oil before eating.
You can eat as is or you can fry them in a little oil until golden brown.
