You Will Need (5 things)
- piece of white Felt
- Button
- white Satin Ribbon
- Hole Punch
- Needle & Thread
Steps (6 steps, 30 minutes)
-
1
Measure your neckline and make some kind of sketch or template for collar. My sketches are usually just very quick drawings, so if I get disturbed while creating something atleast I later remember what I supposed to be doing.
Cut out your template if you feel you like to use one. -
2
Cut out the 2 collar pieces.
Gather thogether all the equipment you will need. -
3
Punch small holes between each scallop, using the hole punch. You can do as many holes as you like.
You can make nice pattern from placing the holes different ways to the collar pieces. -
4
Overlap the two wider end pieces and push a button through the last two aligning holes. Sew the button in place from the backside.
You can add rhinestones or pearls to your collar to decorate it out. -
5
Cut the ribbon into two half-yard lengths. Thread the ribbon through the last hole on the tapered end. Make a knot to secure ribbo in place or use some glue at the tip and fold it closed.
