This is a really cute and easy way to make personalized gift wrap for any occasion! All you need is an Office Stamp (the kind where you can change the letters out to change what the stamp says), a few markers/crayons/colored pencils, and some paper!
This is a really cute and easy way to make personalized gift wrap for any occasion! All you need is an Office Stamp (the kind where you can change the letters out to change what the stamp says), a few markers/crayons/colored pencils, and some paper!
Use the interchangeable letters with you office stamp to make your saying. *Remember you have to place the letters reading from right to left. When you stamp it it will be a mirror image. You can use sayings like HAPPY BIRTHDAY! CONGRATULATIONS! BEST WISHES! HAPPY VALENTINE'S! MERRY CHRISTMAS! to add a little more to it add the date of the event to the stamp. That could be their Birthday, Wedding, Graduation, or the Holiday date like for Valentines of Christmas.
Now decided how you want to place the stamp, what kind of pattern do you want. My stamp is big a bulky so it was really hard to see exactly where it would stamp, so I did a lot of tester papers. I found that drawing a graph on the paper helped get a more clean look. But I also like a few of the pages that I just stamped randomly. I suggest using plain white printer paper when your getting the hang of the stamp. That way if you mess up your not wasting pretty paper. Stamp the design you like on the paper, and make sure to not smear the ink while its drying. When its all dried you can go back and add some color to your paper with the markers! You can outline some stamped areas with color, or if you have large areas of white, you could draw in a little design or picture. Like balloons or cake for a birthday. Or hearts for Valentine's, holly for Christmas. Stuff like that.
Now just wrap up your gift and your good to go! You'll need to make at least two pages of each design to cover anything that isn't a very small item. Enjoy!
