Always love creative and personalized notebook , journals, diaries..you name it. And I saw something I just had to have but after bills and other expenses I didn't have the money to buy it so I decided to make it myself. Original Idea from tratgirl55 on esty.

Some of the Material you will need. All I purchased at Walmart for less than $10. So pick your favorite colors and fabric and just have fun with it.
Place the composition book on top of your fabric, (make sure to have newspaper or a towel on the bottom of your project so that you don't get glue everywhere.) Fold the fabric according to the size of your book , top and bottom only.
When you fold the top and bottom press down with an iron (heat level according to your fabric of course). Do the same with the left and right side. Measure it with your book, remember it has to be snug ...it is not a book cover so it will be permanently glued to the book so you don't want gaps. Once you have pressed it down with the iron. You can now glue the top and bottom part making sure you have the end even. Just your some cardboard and spread it all over. Press firmly and make sure its the size of your book.
Glue it to your book. Now working on the left and right size. This will be seen when you open it so make a lil hem and glue that down. Now glue it to the inside of your book. Be careful and with the tacky glue the glue dries clear. Once you have that glued just set to the to work on the felt part.
Now for the felt part, pick your favorite colors and make whatever design you want. And you can add other things, pictures, buttons, etc.
Cut out your design , I like to hand sew a straight stitch but you can use a sewing machine like in applique style.
As you finish sewing, just glue your design onto the newly covered composition book.
And there you go...ta da. I am sorry if the beginning steps are confusing and if you have any question ask away. Thanks and hope you enjoy!
