Peplum Tank Top

A navy peplum top that can be made from a fitted shirt and a large shirt, or just one large shirt.

I made this shirt in 2012, by cutting a tank top out of a fitted shirt and for the peplum I used the bottom 6 or so inches of a large shirt (that was the same color), did a basting gathering stitch on the bottom and then attached it to the top. Another way to do this would be to just take one large shirt, cut and sew the top part of the top out of the shirt, then use the rest to make the peplum.
