Grab your pencil sharpen it. Not too sharp because you'll be wearing it so it can stab you. I chose to sand the tip and make it flat and blunt.
Measure your pencil and mark where you want to cut it.
With your saw, cut your colored pencil on your mark. If it splits use scissors to cut off the parts that stick out.
Sand the rough edges to make it smooth.
It should be nice and smooth like this :)
Figure out in what order you're going to arrange your colored pencils. Once you've done that, grab you small wood chip, smaller than the size of your pencils put together, and glue your pencils to it. The wood chip will serve as the base, holding it altogether.
Attach your jewelry findings. If you're going to turn it into a brooch, don't forget to glue a small piece of cloth (any, as long as it's sturdy) and glue it between the base and the lock of your brooch. You can also use a screw post for pendants, or a ring base.
