Steps (7 steps, 60 minutes)

1
Attaching pearls to eyepins
Place a bead on an eyepin. Cut the eyepin with cutters leaving a generous centimetre above the bead. Bend the top of the eyepin into a loop using round nosed pliers. Make around 20 to 30 more, including 1 with the largest pearl you have for the central bead.
-
2
Attaching pearls to headpins
Depending on how full you want your necklace to be, make about 15 or more beaded headpins, attaching 2 pearls to each 1. These are made in exactly the same way as you made the beaded eyepins in step 1.
-
3
Central bead
Attach a jump ring to the eyepin loops on each side of the largest pearl that you prepared for the central bead. 1 jump ring will be used to attach your necklace chain and the opposite jump ring will be used to hang the pearl tassels.

4
Making the necklace chain
To make the necklace chain, join several jump rings together. Attach a beaded eyepin to the last jump ring added. Continue adding jump rings and beaded eyepins until the chain is 25cm long. Attach the end jump ring to 1 of the jump rings on your central pearl.
Make another 25cm chain in the same way and attach to the same jump ring on the central pearl.
-
5
Adding the toggle clasp
Open up the last jump ring on one of the 25cm lengths of chain. Hook 1 side of the toggle clasp to the jump ring and close.
Repeat on the other length of chain with the other part of the toggle clasp.

Pearl tassels
Make several more varying lengths of beaded jump ring chains up to about 10cm long. End each length with a previously prepared beaded headpin (step). Attach the top jump ring of each length to the empty jump ring on your central pearl.
Attach the remaining beaded headpins in random places along the necklace chain.
