Pear Sorbet
a nice treat on hot days

This is a recipe from Jamie Oliver. It tastes very nice! The sorbet lasts for a couple of days in the freezer but after this it will crystalize.

You Will Need (4 things)
- 200 g Sugar
- 1000 g Pears
- 1 zest and juice of one Lemon
- 55 ml Grappa
Steps (3 steps, 20 minutes)

boil 200ml water with the sugar, then simmer for 3mins.
peel and quarter the pears, remove the cores. add the pear quarters to the sugarwater and simmer for 5mins. -

Remove from heat and chill for 5mins, then add the juice and zest of 1lemon and purée.

add the grappa. then pour the mixture in a dish and freeze it. you have to stir the sorbet every half an hour
