You Will Need (9 things)

  • 200 g Flour
  • 60 g Cocoa
  • 180 ml Warm Water
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp Yeast
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp Mazola Oil
  • Peanut Butter to fill
  • Edible Marker

Steps (12 steps, 35 minutes)

  1. 1

Whisk together the flour, sugar and baking powder. Remove a quarter of the mixture and place in a separate bowl. Whik the cocoa to the first bowl.

  2. 2

Mix the yeast and mazola oil into the warm water.

  3. 3

Create a well in the middle of each bowl of flour and three quarters of the water into the cocoa bowl and one quarter into the smaller bowl. Mix together both to knead into a thick dough.

  4. 4

Cover and leave the doughs to rise for an hour.

  5. 5

Knead the doughs again, divide into two and roll into two logs. Cut each log into 6 pieces. Do the same for the plain dough.

  6. 6

Roll each dough piece into a ball and flatten into a disc. Place on a square of parchment paper and place a spoonful of peanut butter in the middle.

  7. 7

Fold the dough in half and form the top corners into bear ears. Repeat to make the other bears.

  8. 8

Brush the bears with a little mazola oil.

  9. 9

Separate each of the plain dough balls into two and roll one half into a circle, flatten and place on the bear for a muzzle.

  10. 10

Use the other half to make two small ears.

  11. 11

Use an edible marker pen to draw faces on each of the bears.

  12. 12

Steam each bear for 8 minutes and serve or freeze to eat later. To re-heat the bears, steam for 3 minutes.
