Use some colored cardstock, crafting tools, and scrapbook embellishments to make a festive patriotic place setting for your 4th of July barbecue table.

You Will Need (6 things)

  • Scrapbook
  • Pillow Box Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers (or Template)
  • Patriotic Scrapbook Embellishments
  • Empty, Clean Mason Jar(s)
  • Red, White, and Blue Scrapbook Cardstock
  • Decorative Paper Straws

Steps (3 steps, 45 minutes)

    Using the We R Memory Keepers Pillow Box Punch Board, a pillow box template, or a pre-made pillow box, make a utensil holder by trimming off the tops of a red, white or blue pillow box. Decorate your utensil holder with patriotic scrapbook embellishments. Wrap your party utensils in a paper napkin, and slide them into the utensil holder.

    Using a die cutting machine, or the Lucky 8 Punch from We R Memory Keepers, make a decorative placemat from red, white, or blue 12x12 cardstock. Place it under your plate on the table.

    Decorate a set of clean, empty mason jars with red, white, blue or gold paper. Add some decorative paper straws and your party drink.
