About

I often get asked on my deviantart account www.x-justabitinsane-x.deviantart.com *this is where most of my art goes* what a paper child is really and basically they are paper drawings that look like their alive and often are being interacted with by you or their surroundings and as such will look like their being moved or moving.
I am going to show you the steps I took to draw one of them but show you more then one example of the ones I have done a long time ago

You Will Need (2 things)

  • Paper
  • Pencil(s)

Steps (3 steps, 20 minutes)

  1. 1

draw the outline for your paper child and then outline it with black pen
*you dont have too but it helps*
In this case I have drawn a neko sasuke a ninja from the manga naruto
*if youve seen my previous things you may see a pattern emerging as Im a massive ninja geek*
The pose I have drawn is good for like kneeling and or holding onto or swinging of things so can be used for a lot of different photos

  2. 2

colour your paper child using pencils or crayons as needed
*I generally use crayola twistables because they dont need to be sharpened and at the same time are a mix of crayon and pencil*

  3. 3

cut out your paper child carefully and then enjoy :)
