With just paper and double-sided tape, it’s surprisingly easy to make a paper bag or packet. This paper bag with a base is made so well it looks just like something from a store! Try using recycled wrapping paper, attractive printed materials or photocopied fabric to create original paper bags.

You Will Need (1 thing)
- Paper (width: twice the size of the nished product + 3⁄4 (2cm) for ap at base; length: finished size + 3⁄8 in (1cm) for ap) *The item shown is made from a 63⁄4 in (17.5cm) square of origami paper
Steps (6 steps, 15 minutes)

Fold in 3⁄8 in (1cm) of right edge of paper to create a narrow margin fold.

Fold in right side of paper along the width, bringing it to the center. Stick double- sided tape to margin fold.

Fold in left side along the width of paper to overlap by 3⁄8 in (1cm) at center. Fold over right side and stick down.

Fold up bottom edge by 3⁄8 in (1cm).

Trim off the corners of the flap and the inner edge of the flap (the side that will stick to the body of the packet).

Attach double-sided tape to entire flap. Fold over and stick into place.
