A quick(somewhat)and easy way to make and attach cute panda ears to any of your favorite hoodies.
First take your black fleece or felt and cut out the circular ear shape. You're going to need four of these.
Next, take your white fleece or felt and cut out the same shape but only a little smaller than the black.I didn't have a pattern,so I just estimated how small I wanted it.But make it small enough so that when you sew everything together, you can actually see the back more than the white.
Now,get your white thread and needle ready and line up the white part of the ear on the black.(No pic for this part,it's easy enough for you to understand).
Now when you start sewing, you want to thread the needle through the bottom so you won't see it on top.
So now you just thread up and back down.
When you get to the edge of the white part of the ear,STOP! Lol,just kidding. But really, you have to stop.
Now take small amounts of the stuffing and put it in the opening. You can skip this step if you like.Stuffing the white part isn't necessary, but I just wanted extra cushion. After you're done stuffing ,tie it off.
Now for this part you have to lay the part of the ear with the white face down on the other black piece you cut so that it looks like a double stuffed Oreo :3. This is needed so that when you turn the ear inside out,the white is on the outside.
Next, pin your Oreo looking thing together so the pieces won't move around when you're sewing.
For this step you just sew as you did for the white part and again when you get to the edge stop for stuffing. After you have stuffed the ear DO NOT close the ear up.You need to keep the ear unsewn at the bottom.
After you've made both ears you need to mark where you want to sew the ears to your jacket.(I recommend you try on the jacket and place the ears in spots where you think they would look nice before you mark or cut.I put mine close to the front).
After you have marked where you want your ears, cut out the holes.Make sure the are wide enough for the bottom of the ear to fit in it.
Now you line the edge of the ear up with the opening of the jacket and begin to sew it close. Note:The stitch you using now is going to be different from the one you have been previously using. (See next step)
When you are sewing the ear to the jacket, you aren't going up and down. It's kind of a over and under type stitch. Make sure you sew all the way to the end of the hole.If you don't,you will be able to see the hole in your jacket from where you cut. (See picture)
After you have went through all the steps for both ears, you can kick your feet up and let out a deep breath. You are now done and you have your cute panda hoodie <3
