After seeing the 'Painting Shoes' project on here, I knew I had to try it! I went to Walmart and got these ugly, tan, canvas shoes for five dollars. In the pictures, you can still see the color that they were in the inside. Nasty, right?! I then planned out what I would draw on each side, drew it on with pencil, and then painted them! It took a long time to do all of this, not even counting the time I had to wait for them to dry before I could do the clear coat! But it was well worth it. They aren't a Mona Lisa quality paint job, but I'm very happy with how they turned out and I get many compliments when I wear them. I would definately reccomend doing some for yourself! :)
