This is really easy and cheap project! I use paint brushes/tooth picks to write on my quote or sayings onto the rocks. Sometimes I will outline things with a permanent marker. Once the paint is dry, add a spray or brush-on sealer to protect the rock and give it a shiny finish! Make sure to let the sealer dry too before touching! While waiting for the paint to dry, sticking it in front of a fan speeds up the process! The painting itself doesn't take long it is just the drying time that makes this project take a little longer! I like to find flat rocks at the beach, but there are lots of places to find rocks out there. I like to display mine around my room, and give them away as gifts. You can even put them in a garden or potted plant since they have a protective sealer and can get wet without being ruined. Ohh the possibilities are endless..
