Description

We all know that crafting in a white tee is a no no, but accidents happen right? Don't sweat those little splatters, make them work for you! Just follow these simple steps and you'll have an entirely new shirt. xo

Instructions

  1. Small 1 3tshirt

Using a piece of cardboard (I used a cereal box) make your desired shape. (triangle, cross, circle, etc.) Cut out the shape and tape it to the t-shirt (so it doesn't move while you splatter your paint).

  2. Small tee pureandnoble 130831 7

Using fabric paint and a toothbrush, begin to splatter your paint. (As you begin to create your splattered paint, play around with techniques of how to get the paint from the brush onto the tee. I found that scraping the paint against my thumb created the largest blobs of paint, which is the look I wanted.)

  3. Small 4 tee

As you can see, we also taped off our sleeves to keep the paint where we wanted it versus all over the place! Once the paint is dry, simply remove the cardboard cut out and iron with a medium heat to set the paint! Boom! New Shirt!
