In keeping with the art deco influence while adding our own contemporary twist, we’ve decorated a neon acrylic clutch bag with a striking geometric design that would glam up any outfit. Make it your own and no one else’s. Zig-ah-zig-AH

Before you start, make sure the clutch bag is clean. Remove all dirt and oil stains with a clean cloth. Take off any additional detailing, such as straps or inner pouches.
Create the first row of a zig-zag pattern on the front of the clutch bag using masking tape.
Repeat the same pattern on the back and sides.
Cover your work surface with scrap paper. Begin painting the unmasked area in acrylic paint, alternating in shades of black and white. Repeat the pattern on the sides.
Leave the paint to dry, then paint the back of the clutch. When dry, apply a second layer of paint to the front and sides. Leave to dry before painting a second layer on the back.
Once the paint is fully dry, carefully remove the masking tape. Reattach the straps and inner pouch, if required. Your clutch bag is ready!
