Wings back (2x) (Use dark brown yarn) Row 1: 5 ch + 1 tch (5) Row 2: turn around and crochet 5 tc (5) Tie-off and sew the back to the front. Leave enough yarn to sew the wings to the body.
Feet (2x) (Use dark brown yarn) 2 ch + 1 tch, turn around and crochet 2 sc, 2 ch + 1 tch, turn around and crochet 2 sc Tie-off with a sl.st in the 1st ch. Leave enough yarn to sew the feet to the body.

Beak (Use orange yarn) RND 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6) RND 2: 6 sc (6) RND 3: 2 sc in each 2nd sc (9) Tie-off with a sl.st and leave enough yarn to sew the beak to the head.
Beard (Use off-white yarn) Row 1: 3 ch + 1 tch (3) Row 2: turn around and crochet 1 sc in the 1st ch, 1 dc in the 2nd ch, 1 tc in the 3rd ch (3) Tie-off and leave enough yarn to sew the beard to the head.
Putting all the parts together Sew the head to the body. Sew the wings to the body, below the head. Sew the feet to the body, somewhere at round 7 (counted from above). Sew the tail to the body, somewhere at round 7 (counted from above). Sew the eyespots to each other, then sew them to the head, somewhere at round 6. Sew the beak to the head, somewhere at round 13. Sew the beard to the head, somewhere at round 15.
Face Cut 2 eyes out of yellow and black felt and paste these onto the eyespots. Attach for the eyebrows 2 pieces of thin black yarn to the head, above the eyespots.
