Steps (19 steps, 15 minutes)

1. 1

   Start with a square piece of origami paper, color side down

   Fold on the horizontal diagonal. Crease and unfold.

   Fold the top and bottom tips to meet the center crease.

   Fold the bottom to meet the center.

   Do the same for the top.

   Fold in the two tips on the end. This will form a rectangle.

   Fold the end of the rectangle toward the top.

   Do the same to the other side, but fold it down.

   Lift the top flap of the paper and put the triangle you just folded inside it.

    Repeat the last step for the other side. It should look like this.

    Flip the paper over.

    Fold the two sides of the paper in, forming a square in the center.

    Repeat steps 1-12 until you have six separate units.

    Choose 2 of the 6 completed units.

    Insert the tip of one unit into the pocket on one side of the other unit. It should look like this.

    Insert the tip of another unit into the pocket on the other side.

    Flip it over. It should look like this.

    Attach the top and two sides using the same method.
