Origami Christmas Tree And Business Card Holder

Even offices need Christmas cheer!

The Tree! Modular origami with a 'lucky star' on top, but you could use any Christmas-y doo=dad. A fake tree, a snowman, even an ornament from your tree. The Base! Mine is glass out of an old picture frame, but mirror, tile, wood or an old book wrapped in sturdy fabric would do fine. Anything heavy that will anchor the project and keep it from tipping over every time someone grabs a business card. This one has a covering of deep green cardstock. The Card Holder! This is just square wooden beads combined with popsicle sticks. Five popsicle sticks in back, three in front, with line of beads in between the layers. Glue an extra beads on the outside front and back for stability. Attaching Use a hot glue gun, except if you are working with glass. A glass-friendly wet adhesive will work better - hot glue will peel off more easily. Business Card Adding in a sample business card (if this is a gift!) is a cute way to personalize. This one says, "World's Best Grandpa", and gives his qualifications as "Hide and Seek Expert" and "Liberal Ice Cream Scooper".
