Description

This bold and colourful jewellery set is quick and easy to make. Add another row of beads for even more impact.

Instructions

1. Cut 2m of ribbon. Approximately 16cm along from the end tie a knot. Thread on a pink bead, push along to the knot and tie another to keep in place. Repeat alternating coloured beads until you have added 14 beads.

2. Open a 7mm jump ring, loop over the central knot of your necklace, add another jump ring and close.

3. Cut 20cm of ribbon, thread through the centre of the aluminium bead and tie into a knot. Trim the ends at an angle with a sharp pair of scissors. Open a jump ring, loop through the knot and attach to the jump ring at the centre of the necklace and close the jump ring.

4. Cut the necklace to the desired length. Attach a ribbon clasp to each end. Add a jump ring to one end and a jump ring with a trigger clasp to the other.

5. To make the bracelet. Cut two 40cm lengths of ribbon. Thread one length through the centre of the aluminium bead until it is halfway, tie a knot. Repeat on the other side. Add the beads and clasp in the same way as the necklace.
