Hey all, Figured I would post this, as this is an AMAZING way to care for your skin. Coconut oil is pretty expensive, maybe $15, but it lasts forever and doesn't cost as much as all those pesky skin products. Plus, it is SO VERSATILE VERSATILE! Now, when purchasing Coconut oil, get PURE coconut oil, also watch out for what form it is in. Mine is refined (for high heat) and is solid, (unless it gets in the sun and liquifies) I prefer the solid kind because i can melt it in my hands for use or keep it solid and rub it in, melting it as i go!!

Coconut oil is pretty expensive, maybe $15, but it lasts forever and doesn't cost as much as all those pesky skin products. Plus, it is SO VERSATILE VERSATILE! Mine is refined (for high heat) and is solid, (unless it gets in the sun and liquifies) I prefer the solid kind because i can melt it in my hands for use or keep it solid and rub it in, melting it as i go!!

Instructions

  1. Use the Coconut Oil to: Rub in your hair. Grab some coconut oil, (amount depending on the amount of hair) and rub evenly in. I prefer to leave mine in over night and through the day. However, it can give you a bit of a greasy look, so in that case just rinse it out. It will make your hair SO SMOOTH!

  2. Use the Coconut Oil to: Rub on your face. I melt mine (i have mine refined for high heat) in my palms and rub liberally on my face. It WILL BE GREASY, but not bad greasy. Leave it on and go to bed. I wake up in the morning and don't remove mine. My face is nicely moisturized and there is no shininess shininess left-over. By doing this on my face I have: Softened my skin, reduced dryness and redness (I have areas of chicken skin on my face) gotten rid of all my zits, and shrunk my pore size considerably!!

  3. Use Coconut Oil to: Moisturize the rest of your body! It really is so versatile versatile apply whenever needed, and if it's a bit to greasy (shinny) for ya, just use a soft cloth and dab off the excess!
