So one day I was totally craving Dairy Queen but I didn't really dig the idea of going out and getting ice cream so I invented my very own (incredibly tasty if I do say so myself) version of the classic oreo blizzard!

You Will Need (4 things)

  • 6 Oreos
  • about a 1/4 cup Milk or just a good splash to get things moving
  • 4 large scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 Blender

Steps (3 steps, 35 minutes)

  1. 1

    Firstly, you will need to get out all your ingredients & supplies;

    +Blender
    + oreo cookies
    +milk
+vanilla ice cream (or frozen yogurt )

  2. 2

Now measure out 4 large scoops of ice cream and put them into the blender along with the 6 oreos.

Before you put the oreos in, break them up into rough quarters .

After you have done this pour a little bit (no more than a 1/4 cup) of milk into the blender so that the other ingredients can be blended easily.

  3. 3

Now turn on your blender! Alternate from high to low settings ( on some blenders this is called pulse ) a couple of times before you stop and give the contents of the blender a good stir with a large spoon.

Repeat this process until the blizzard is nice and thick- don't blend it to much or it becomes to milk -shakey (unless of course you're hoping for a milk shake :).

    Serve & enjoy! <3
