Orange Peel Candle

Ooh no I tried and it didn't want to lit at all...how comes? What do I do wrong? Shd it b rather fresh peel than dried? Have you tried them both? Thnk you in advance for an advise...X

Now we know what to do when we don't have candles in the house and power goes off. (Sadly we don't have oranges often) :-p

Adorable!! Lizard Liz makes a very valid point, be careful with those oils! (maybe just squeeze some juice from the orange into the oi before burning?)

I would exercise EXTREME caution if you choose to add anything to that oil, most perfumes are highly flammable due to the high amounts of alcohol added to the fragrance. Just had to throw that in, I don't want to see any of my fellow crafty friends go up in flames!

I'm not really sure how long they burn because I was too anxious to post it as soon as I lit it. I don't think it's burns too long though because the "wick" burns up somewhat fast.

Very great idea, does it have long burning hours?
