You Will Need (9 things)

  • Measuring Jug
  • Grater
  • Pan
  • 2 Bars of Unscented Soap
  • 6 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Stove
  • 6 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp Vanilla Essential Oil
  • Orange(s) Rind

Steps (6 steps, 120 minutes)

  1. 1

Break up two bars of soap in to small chunks. You can grate the soap but I blended mine in a bean grinder to make it powder like.

  2. 2

Put the soap in to a plastic jug and place in to a pan of boilng water. Leave to cook in the pan for about 20 minutes. The soap will go soft.

  3. 3

Add the olive oil and mix in well. Place back in the pan and leave to cook for another 15 minutes.

  4. 4

Add the orange rind, vanilla oil, cinnamon and mix.

  5. 5

Pour the soap in to a mold and flatten and compact it with your fingers.

  6. 6

Leave to set for about 5 days. The soap will be hard and compact. Remove the soap from its mold and cut in to square slabs.
